After I bought my headers, the decision was made to alter my seating arrangement. Back to back seats just don't do headers and exposed engines that well.

This was just after kicking out all the old seat boxes.

After this, of course you know I found a wet spot in the floor.   Undecided  So we took a deep breath and ripped it out too.

I wasn't impressed with those little water logged floor supports that Spectra used to support the wood so I decided to go to the more popular goal post style center stringer.

But first, I had to grind out all that crap that was left in there.

I cut up a 2x6 to match the bottom of the hull and glued it in.

Test fitting my plywood, fit like a glove. It should have with all the measuring it took!

With the plywood back out I added a conduit to run cables through.

Another view of the conduit.

Glue-ing down the floor to my center stringer, nice weights, huh!

Then glassed over the whole floor with a bunch of mat and resin.

I thought I'd be happy to be down to the wood work, but it's just as tough. It's just not as itchy. Smiley

Now we get to the part I was hoping to start with over a month ago. The new seat! I decided I wanted to put in two forward facing benches. I thought it would make it more muscle car-ish. Cheesy

Here's where the wife comes in. She's pretty handy with a sewing machine, so we'll see how she can do with this. We played around with the two colors of vinyl we bought until we came up with a pattern we liked.

I hope this hasn't taken all day for you to load all these pics! I've been saving them down to smaller and smaller sizes to make it as easy as I can on ya.

And here it is all done.

And then in the boat!
